EMPOWERED SPONSORING is gentle. You do not sell. You do not judge, qualify or disqualify. Prospects qualify themselves by taking action. You facilitate. You empower.

Even in “qualifying” prospects for desire so you’ll know how much time and money you may want to spend sponsoring them, prospects are responsible for the action of expressing desire. You may give the nudge, but they must take the action.

 

 

 

You can play it like a game of ping-pong. You ping. They pong. Any time they don’t hit the ball back over to you, the game could be over. You can use a positive “three strikes and you’re out” posture. That is, when they miss a pong, you can ask if

they want to stay in the game, and again. The third time you ask, you tell them the ball’s in their court. If they hit it back to you, they’re still in the game, and the count starts over. If they don’t, you send them a thank-you for the game, an acknowledgment the timing may have been bad, and an open invitation to get back into the game, or recommend friends for the game, anytime.

Prospects who are choosing every step of the way to remain in your information-gathering process are unlikely to surprise you at the end of it with a firm No. For many, it

will be the easiest Yes they’ve ever come to on an important decision. Those who weren’t as strong as others in decision-making have just had a long series of positive outcomes. Now they, too, are strong. Empowered prospects make powerful distributors.

You create additional power for yourself by putting everyone through the same pipeline. You are thereby able to reach out to more people. Novice distributors think everyone they are talking to is a “special case.” That may be, but a good sponsoring system will work with special cases as well as with the masses. You preserve your stamina by not expending energy on anxious judging and evaluating. When prospects are moving, they’re in. When they’re not moving, they’re out. Because the system works for you, you quickly develop expertise. You sponsor with ease and elegance. You are empowered and empowering. The End
